How it works

How it works: one, two, three

No jargon, no runaround and no credit check to ask. Here's exactly what happens when you enquire.

See if you qualify →No credit check to enquire
  1. 1

    Tell us what you need (about 60 seconds)

    Amount, purpose, your state, how long you've been trading and whether you own property. No documents and no credit check at this stage.

  2. 2

    A real person calls you

    A lending specialist reads your enquiry, then rings to understand the full picture: timing, existing debts, anything on your credit file, and what a good outcome looks like for you.

  3. 3

    You hear the option that fits

    Secured or unsecured, what it involves, the documents needed and a realistic timeline. You decide whether to go ahead. Only then do documents, a credit check and any valuation begin.

Before step 1: what helps?

Nothing is required to enquire. But a few minutes of thought makes the first call more useful. Have a rough idea of:

  • what the money is for, ideally in one sentence;
  • how much you need, and by when;
  • your approximate monthly turnover;
  • whether you own residential or commercial property, and roughly what's owed on it;
  • any existing loans or ATO arrangements.

Not sure where you fit? The 1-2-3 finance finder takes about 30 seconds and points you to the loan types worth reading about first.

During step 2: what we'll ask

The call is a conversation, not an interrogation. We'll want to understand the purpose, the timing, how the loan would be repaid and what's happened in the business recently. If there's bad credit or an ATO debt, tell us. Both are considered case by case, and knowing early lets us pick the right path. Property-secured options run from $20,000 to $5,000,000; unsecured, cash-flow and line-of-credit options for trading businesses are typically $5,000 to $500,000.

After step 3: from yes to funded

Once you choose an option, we'll give you a precise documents list. Most loans start with photo ID, your ABN and recent business bank statements; larger and property-secured loans add more. Our documents checklist shows all three tiers. Then the lender assesses, any valuation is completed, loan documents are signed (usually after independent legal advice for property-secured loans) and funds are paid to you or directly to whoever needs paying.

Common questions

Does enquiring affect my credit score?

No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. A credit check is only discussed after you've heard your options and decided to proceed.

Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?

No. A real person reviews your situation and matches it carefully. We don't spray your information across a list of lenders.

How quickly will someone call?

A specialist reads every enquiry and calls during business hours, usually the same or next business day. Keep your phone handy; the call may come from a number you don't recognise.

What happens after I choose an option?

We tell you exactly which documents are needed. Once they're in, the lender assesses, any valuation is arranged for property-secured loans, documents are signed and funds are paid.

Why do you ask for accurate answers on the form?

Because the amount, purpose, state and property details change which options fit. Accurate answers mean the first call can focus on the right option instead of starting again.

Ready for step one?

It takes about a minute, there's no credit check, and a real person will call you. Please fill the form in accurately so we can match you properly first time. Start your enquiry.
